A Casa e a Comida | Home and Food.

As casas somos nós, de corpo e alma. A mobília é a nossa roupa e calçado. As louças e talheres são as malas e carteiras. E indo mais ao pormenor, as toalhas e guardanapos são as pulseiras e colares que escolhemos para dar mais energia. 
A comida que pomos na mesa são os abraços que damos a quem nos acompanha. A bebida que despejamos nos copos, são os beijinhos de alegria que damos a quem aparece. E ontem tive um dos jantares mais elegantes e calorosos na companhia da Joana, Ana Maria e Miguel - a querida e pequenina Mia recebeu-nos de sorriso contagiante e olhos brilhantes (de alegria e sono) mas pouco tempo depois foi nanar.

We are the houses, body and soul. The furniture is our clothing and footwear. Homewares are the bags and wallets. And going into more detail, towels and napkins are the bracelets and necklaces we chose to give more energy. 
The food we put on the table is the hugs we give to those who join us. The drink we pour on the glasses, are the kisses of joy we give to those who show up. And yesterday I had one of the most elegant and warm gatherings with Joana, Ana Maria and Miguel - sweet little Mia received us with an infectious smile and bright eyes (with joy and sleepy) but shortly after went to dreamland.

Um dia destes partilho esta casa cheia de pormenores e sabedoria, mas hoje fica só mesmo este momento único antes de nos juntarmos todos à mesa repleta das delicias cozinhadas pela Ana Maria, inspiradas pelo seu favorito Ottolenghi.
