The series “Home is our Second Skin” was born from the desire to explore the precision of architectural and design technical drawings through textiles. I love the strict two-dimensionality of technical drawings, their millimetre-perfect accuracy, the clarity of the lines, and the way they acquire a new, almost three-dimensional reading when I play with line thickness and colour variations. It is from this concept that I create these decorative panels, which are also part of a personal reconciliation with interior decoration, something I once rejected and considered merely superficial. Here, I create a space where art, design, and architecture coexist, a space where I am profoundly happy.
